Mickey Salzman

Mickey Salzman is a Vice President of Business Development at Northgate Real Estate Group.

As the son of a real estate attorney, Mickey is very familiar with all aspects of commercial transactions and litigation – from investment sales to note sales. He is experienced in legal analysis, document review, project management, and negotiations – with debtors, creditors, their attorneys, and third parties.

Prior to Northgate, Mickey was a real estate consultant for York Oxford, where he brokered commercial investment sales and syndicated non-performing loans. Before that, he worked at Castellan Real Estate Partners where he originated bridge loans for construction and acquisition projects. Prior to Castellan, he worked at Bond Equities, where he advised on leasing and marketing for new development projects.

Select transactions include the brokering of a $25M non-performing loan collateralized by a 10-building industrial portfolio in Brooklyn NY, the syndication of a $13M NPL collateralized by a 120-unit apartment building in Queens NY, and the securing of the note-on-note financing to complete the transaction.

With his time off, Mickey enjoys surfing, yoga, and riding his motorcycle.
